Responsibilities

• Optimizes work productivity by scheduling and allocating all resources under his/her control.
• Ensures hygiene, cleanliness, and maintenance standards for areas under control.
• Responds promptly to guest requirements to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Ensures cost effectiveness of resources to achieve optimum profitability.
• Manages mini bar operations per organizational standards.
• Maintains hotel uniforms, linen quality and related issues.
• Attends and trains staff on fire safety & security systems.
• Creates a conducive work environment for staff development and training.
• Oversees smooth operation of the blocks assigned and supervision of Room Attendants.
• Organizes and facilitates the room making process.
• Daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members.
• Maintains cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and back-of-house areas.
• Checks occupied and departure rooms with focus on guest needs.
• Ensures operations adhere to laid-down standards.
• Organizes guest needs with intimation to EHK/Executive.
• Manages guest requests, including VIP amenities, with relevant teams.
• Inspects guest bedrooms for compliance with standards.
• Familiar with room categories and amenities.
• Responds to guest queries promptly to achieve positive outcomes.
• Performs lost and found procedures.
• Reports maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering.
• Assists Housekeeping Manager with training requirements.
• Represents team needs to other hotel departments.
• Complies with security, fire regulations and safety laws.

Job description

• Optimizes work productivity by effectively scheduling and allocating all available resources (staff, material) under his/her control.
• Ensures constant adherence to organizational standards in hygiene, cleanliness and maintenance of equipment, fitting and fixtures of the area under his/her control.
• Ensures guest requirements and requests are promptly and efficiently responded to, to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Ensures cost effectiveness of resources (material, staff) under his/her control to achieve optimum profitability.
• Responsible for effective mini bar management as per organization s standards.
• Ensures quality of all hotel uniform, linen and control issues, returns and alterations.
• Attends and provides training on fire safety & security systems.
• Creates, establishes and maintains a conducive work environment whereby training can be conducted to ensure multifunctionality and development of staff. Guides and trains staff on development of correct operational skills
• Responsible for smooth operation of the blocks assigned & supervision of Room Attendants
• Organizes and facilitates the room making process.
• Daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and heart of the house area of the floor.
• Checks the occupied and departure rooms, giving special attention to guest needs.
• Ensures that the entire operation is performed as per the laid down standards.
• To organize immediately the guest needs under intimation to EHK/Executive.
• Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating them to the relevant team members.
• Routine inspection of guest bedrooms to ensure they meet standards.
• Aware of all room categories and amenities.
• Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
• Carry out lost and found procedures.
• Report maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department.
• Assist Housekeeping Manager with training requirements.
• Represent the needs of the team to others in the hotel.
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
