Job summary

PeopleStrong in Thane is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join our Support Services team. The role focuses on breakdown management, vendor follow-ups, and coordinating with MSEB during outages.

The candidate should hold a Diploma or ITI with NCTVT in Electrical, have 5–8 years of professional experience, and be able to supervise electrical staff, maintenance of panels, UPS, DG, and transformers while ensuring safety and SOP adherence.

Responsibilities

• Daily rounds to all departments in shift
• Check readings of all electrical parameters
• Monitor KWH, UPS, DG readings
• Attend breakdown electrical calls
• Replace faulty electrical lights
• Coordinate with MSEB during power outages
• Arrange shutdowns for maintenance of circuit breakers, transformers and UPS
• Provide updates to Manager-Engineering and Executive-Maintenance

Role Purpose

Attaining the Breakdown call and taking follow up with vendors

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Rounds to all departments in shift.
• Check all check list and readings of all electrical parameters.
• To check reading of all KWH, UPS, DG.
• To check all breakdown electrical calls.
• To change all faulty electrical lights.
• To attain breakdown related with electrical
• To coordination with MSEB during power outage.
• To arrange shut down for maintenance for circuit breaker, transformer and UPS.
• To give update to Manager-Engineering and Executive-Maintenance regarding power outage
• To keep track on inventory of electrical material.
• To follow up with AMC vendors for servicing & breakdown.
• To attend breakdown calls.
• To co ordinate with Electrical inspector for laisoning.
• To test earth pits and lightening arrestors.
• To give training to electrical staff regarding SOP and check list.
• Technically very well versed with following
• Electrical panels
• UPS
• DG
• Control wiring and Electrical distribution
• Electrical laws and laisoning
• Transformer
• Fire alarm, hydrant, sprinkler systems
• Motors
• Breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting
• Knowledge about Annual maintenance contracts
• Knowledge about SOP’s & Check list
• Ability to communicate to the end user and the vendor
