Welspun World is seeking an Assistant Manager for Quality Management Systems (QMS) to lead maintenance and continual improvement aligned with API Q1, ISO 29001, ISO 9001, PED and AD 2000 standards. You will coordinate data, drive audits, and improve documentation across plants.

The role requires coordinating internal and external audits, training teams on QMS essentials, tracking non-conformities, and ensuring timely corrective actions. Strong collaboration with management is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Science.
Knowledge of API and ISO standards for pipe manufacturing.
Experience with QMS, audits, and ISO 9001, API Q1, ISO 29001.
Strong documentation, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
Hindi, English, Gujarati languages preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve QMS per API Q1, ISO 29001, ISO 9001, PED, and AD 2000.
Coordinate data collection and document control across plants.
Support audits and audit readiness with certification bodies.

SUP-QMS-Pipes & Plates ensure effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with API Spec Q1, ISO 29001, ISO 9001, PED, and AD 2000-Merkblatt . Responsible for maintaining QMS documentation, coordinating internal and external audits, monitoring corrective actions, and supporting QMS awareness across functions

Job Description

Maintain and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with API Spec Q1, ISO 29001, ISO 9001, PED, and AD 2000-Merkblatt requirements.
Coordinate with plants, departments, and functions for collection, review, compilation, and maintenance of QMS-related data and documents.
Support renewal and surveillance audits conducted by certification and licensing bodies, including audit preparation and coordination with relevant functions.
Prepare and facilitate external/customer audits and ensure plant QMS compliance prior to audits.
Plan and facilitate internal audits, including preparation of audit plans and circulars, review of audit reports, tracking of non-conformities, and data analysis.
Conduct QMS awareness training and mock audits to enhance employees' understanding of quality management requirements.
Coordinate the closure of non-conformities and corrective actions and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and risk-mitigation measures.
Compile QMS performance data for Management Review Meetings, Quality Forum Meetings, and Quality Review Meetings, and monitor associated action items.
Maintain proper storage, filing, identification, control, and record-keeping of QMS documents and records.
Monitor and compile key quality information such as quality objectives, calibration lists, executed orders, revised documents, improvement actions, corrective actions, and product non-conformity summaries

Responsibility
