Welspun Corp Limited is seeking a SAP FICO/CO specialist to deliver day‑to‑day functional support and data maintenance across plant and business units. You will translate business needs into SAP requirements, coordinate with IT/OT teams and lead efforts to improve processes and reporting.

The role involves training users, ensuring SLA compliance, and contributing to digital transformation initiatives within the Finance area. A strong background in SAP FICO/CO and ERP systems is required.

Qualifications

7 - 9 Years of relevant work experience
Education: Bachelor, Master
Education specialization: Information Technology

Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of FICO/CO master data in SAP
Provide timely support to users for routine SAP FICO/CO functional issues
Ensure SAP tickets are properly documented monitored and closed according to SLA timelines
Support the Plant Costing team in resolving SAP related costing issues
Understand business requirements and coordinate with the SAP technical-functional team for suitable solutions
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of SAP master and transactional data within the assigned scope
Monitor existing SAP processes and recommend opportunities for standardization automation and improvement
Support testing and implementation of SAP enhancements changes and new business requirements
Ensure proper coordination between business users and ITSAP support teams
Assist in SAP process audits and ensure adherence to defined procedures
Conduct support user training and provide functional guidance to SAP users
Develop knowledge of SAP best practices and support their adoption within the organization
Participate in FICO related digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain effective coordination with all internal and external stakeholders

Job Purpose/ Summary

To provide day-to-day functional and operational support for Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives across plant and business functions, enabling digitalisation of manufacturing processes through IT-OT convergence, MES, IoT, automation, real-time analytics, data integration and Smart Manufacturing solutions.

The role will support business users in identifying digital opportunities, translating business requirements into functional and technical requirements, coordinating with IT, OT, automation, cybersecurity and technology partners, and ensuring successful implementation, adoption and continuous improvement of digital solutions.

Job Description

Provide day-to-day functional support for the SAP FICO/CO module to plant and business users. Perform master data creation, maintenance, validation, and updating related to FICO/CO. Support basic-level SAP FICO configuration and Key Data Structure (KDS) requirements. Provide L0 and L1 support to the Plant Costing team and coordinate with technical teams for higher-level issues. Understand new business requirements and translate them into clear SAP functional requirements. Coordinate closely with Operations, Projects, Costing, Finance, Quality, and IT teams to understand business needs and provide appropriate SAP support. Handle and track SAP CO tickets and ensure resolution within the defined SLA. Support business reporting requirements and assist users in obtaining accurate information from SAP. Conduct periodic reviews/audits of SAP CO processes and identify areas for improvement. Support SAP FICO/CO integration with relevant business processes and functions. Assist in implementing SAP best practices and process improvements. Facilitate SAP CO/FICO-related user training and knowledge-sharing sessions. Support and drive digitalization initiatives within the FICO area. Coordinate with internal teams, external agencies, consultants, and service providers as required.
