Job summary

Safran Aircraft Engine Services India Private Limited is seeking a seasoned supply chain professional with 7 to 12 years of experience in procurement and sub-contracting to manage external repair parts and PO/PR processes. The role requires SAP MM proficiency, strong logistics coordination, and the ability to maintain supplier relationships.

The candidate will monitor repair parts coverage, approve PO adjustments, and track shipments while ensuring on-time delivery and KPI delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end procurement and sub-contracting processes.
• Proficiency with SAP MM essential.
• MS Office tools proficiency; Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track the coverage of external repair parts.
• Generate Purchase orders and Delivery Notes to ship-out parts for repairs.
• Verify Repair Quotes and Technical reports to amend the PO.
• Track the material until it is received at the facility on-time.
• Create and maintain healthy relationships with Suppliers for long-term association.
• Track availability of Used/Standard exchange parts and secure approvals to avoid production stoppages.
• Be well versed with metrics to track coverage.
• Interact with logistics partners to track shipments.
• Interact with Supply chain monitoring team to provide ETA and critical parts feedback.
• Update SAP material master records.
• Perform transactions to allocate parts on the right order/project and escalate if needed.
• Define and deliver KPIs on supply performance.
• Ensure exemplary communication with all stakeholders including internal associates and global customers via regular updates.

Role & responsibilities

• Track the coverage of external repair parts
• Generate Purchase order and Delivery Note to ship-out part for repairs
• Verify Repair Quote and Technical report to amend the PO.
• Track the material until it is received at the facility on-time.
• Create and healthy relationship with Suppliers for long term association.
• Track the availability of Used/Standard exchange parts and secure necessary approval to avoid production stoppages.
• Should be well versed with the metrics to track coverage
• Interact with logistics partners to track the shipments
• Interact with Supply chain monitoring team to give feed back on ETA and critical parts
• Updating SAP material master records.
• Perform the transactions to allocate parts on the right order / project and ask for arbitration if needed
• Define & deliver KPIs on supply performance
• Ensures exemplary communication with all stakeholders including internal associates, and global customers through regular local and global updates.

Skills & Qualification:

System:

• Significant knowledge and past experience in Supply Chain processes (Procurement, Sub-contracting, MRP analysis, PR to PO, Outbound/Inbound shipment follow-up, Logistics.) and relevant tools.
• Proficiencyin SAP MM
• MS Office Tools
• Power BI Knowledge shall be an added advantage
