We are a boutique Overseas Education Consultancy in Mumbai, specializing in providing personalized counselling for students aspiring to pursue higher education in the UK, Ireland, Australia, the US, and Germany. Our services include admission and application guidance, student visas, accommodation assistance, and end-to-end support for families.

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Tele-Counsellor to engage with students and provide first-level counselling. The primary responsibility is to reach out to prospective students from our database, explain our services, and convert them into leads by scheduling a counselling session with the company owner (either virtual or in-person).

This is a "work-from-office" role located opposite Matunga West Railway Station with alternate Saturdays off.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in meaningful conversations to understand students’ interests, needs, and aspirations for studying abroad.
• Clearly communicate the benefits of our services, admission guidance, visa assistance.
• Handle initial questions and objections professionally and empathetically.
• Provide basic guidance to students about studying abroad, including university options, country preferences, and application timelines.
• Build trust and credibility with prospective students during conversations.
• Schedule virtual or in-person counselling sessions with the company owner.
• Ensure that follow-up calls are made to confirm appointments and address any doubts before the session.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of student interactions and feedback in the CRM (Lead Squared).
• Submit daily and weekly reports on calls made, leads converted, and counselling sessions scheduled.
• Coordinate with the counselling team to ensure seamless follow-up on leads.
• Work closely with management to refine calling scripts and strategies.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Study Abroad or Education related company.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Hindi (additional local languages are a plus).
• Confident, proactive, empathetic, and persuasive.
• Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer applications is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students.
• Ability to build relationships with students, understand their needs & handle objections.
• Maintain a good follow‑up strategy over the phone & WhatsApp to convert leads.
