CrazyTok is a fast-growing content agency based in Kolkata, seeking an AV engineer to operate and manage studio production, edit podcasts, reels, and promos, and handle post-production tasks. The role requires 2-3 years of studio experience and proficiency in Premiere Pro, Descript, CapCut, and AI tools.

You will work from home with periodic meetups and are expected to deliver high-quality audio and video for global clients.

Qualifications

• Must have an AV engineering degree or diploma.
• Own high-spec hardware capable of storing and exporting multi-cam 4K footage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the studio for recording.

Must have: AV degree or diploma, 2-3 years of experience in studio operations and audio editing, your own high-spec hardware and storage, expertise in Premiere Pro, Descript, Capcut and AI tools | Pay: Rs 20k + monthly performance bonus | Scope of work: studio operation and management (pre-checks, production, basic post-production processing such as colour, audio, sync, cam switch), editing (podcast, reels, teasers, promos and trailers) and final assembly and checks.

Location and Compensation

• Based in Kolkata but work from home except for periodic meetups.
• Compensation is Rs 20k + up to 20% performance bonus per month. Performance is measured based on client feedback, timely delivery and quality of work.

Role Description

• Prepare the studio for recording
• Set up and operate podcast studio equipment, including cameras, microphones, audio mixers, and recording systems
• Manage and configure different camera, audio, lighting and other studio software
• Manage multi-camera recordings, teleprompter, audio monitoring, synchronization and real-time troubleshooting to ensure quality video
• Ensure high-quality audio through noise reduction, audio balancing, and sound enhancement
• Handle recording backups, file management and transfers to ensure error-free delivery
• Manage remote guests, hybrid recordings and livestreaming
• Collaborate with producers and editors to ensure smooth recording sessions and efficient workflows
• Explore AI-powered tools to improve audio quality and production efficiency
• Inventory and maintain equipment

Skills

• Expertise in audio engineering, microphone setup, gain staging, and audio routing
• Expertise with professional recording equipment such as mics, mixers, lights, DSLR cameras
