Job summary

WeAgile Software Solution Pvt. Ltd. in Pune seeks a camera & video production specialist to join a Pune-based studio producing long-form interviews and short-form content for Marathi-speaking audiences.

This role blends technical execution with editorial judgment, dependable production workflows and a consistent viewer experience. You will plan shots, operate cameras, coordinate with audio, and ensure quality across live or near-live sessions.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in video production.
• Excellent command of camera exposure, lenses, composition, and lighting.
• Hands-on experience with Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Blackmagic or equivalent professional camera systems.
• Working knowledge of 4K recording codecs, log profiles, color temperature, multi-camera synchronization and basic editing terminology.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently during live or near-live recording and work calmly with presenters and guests.
• Organized media handling, safe equipment rigging and dependable communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan camera positions, lenses, framing and lighting for host–guest interviews, typically with two or three camera angles.
• Set up and operate mirrorless/cinema cameras, tripods, monitors, lighting modifiers and practical studio lighting; maintain consistent exposure, color and focus.
• Capture 4K footage where appropriate; select frame rates, shutter, white balance, picture profiles and media settings consistently across cameras.
• Coordinate with the audio specialist on mic placement, clean composition, timecode/clap sync and avoiding equipment in frame.
• Perform pre-shoot checks: batteries, storage capacity, card formatting, recording limits, overheating, focus, flicker and continuity.
• Operate and monitor the cameras through 20‑60-minute recordings; promptly flag framing or technical issues without disrupting the guest.
• Ingest footage after every session, follow file-naming and backup procedures, and hand over an accurate camera/media log.
• Maintain cameras, lenses, lights, stands, cabling and safe studio floor practices; support occasional on‑location shoots.

• Hands‑on experience with Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Blackmagic or equivalent professional camera systems.
• Working knowledge of 4K recording codecs, log profiles, color temperature, multi‑camera synchronization and basic editing terminology.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently during live or near‑live recording and work calmly with presenters and guests.
• Organized media handling, safe equipment rigging and dependable communication.

Preferred / added advantage

• Experience filming Indian-language interview podcasts and making guests comfortable on camera.
• Basic familiarity with teleprompters, live switching/ATEM, gimbals and simple studio set design.
• Ability to collaborate on thumbnail stills or short behind‑the‑scenes capture.
