Job summary

aecc india is seeking a Consultant/Senior Consultant to guide students through studying abroad, including country and university selection, admissions, and visa processes. You will mentor fellow counsellors, coordinate with team leaders and branch managers, and support office events and team-building initiatives.

Excellent communication is essential for effective client meetings and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years counselling experience in education field.
• Ability to guide students on destination country, course, and university choices.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Proficient with Word, Excel; familiarity with CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle student walk-ins and provide end-to-end study-abroad consultancy.
• Understand eligibility and recommend suitable country, course, and university.
• Explain admission and visa documentation requirements in detail.
• Manage admission process: case filing, updates, and visa applications; address queries.
• Stay updated on policies for destination countries and communicate changes.
• Follow up with students to ensure successful conversions and closures.
• Prepare MIS reports as required by management.
• 5 days working; support management.

Job description

We are looking for a Consultant and Senior Consultant to help our students in the easy or hassle-free application or paperwork processing for their education seeking placement in international institutions. You will also be responsible for mentoring, providing training to fellow counsellors on product knowledge and supporting their ongoing professional development. This role will be working closely with the Team Leader and the Branch Manager to provide necessary support in client meetings, office related events, team building initiatives, etc. Excellent communication skills are essential.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handling student walk-ins for effectively address their queries regarding Studying abroad and provide comprehensive consultancy with end-to-end solution.
• Attain complete understanding of Students eligibility & suggest the most appropriate Country, Course and University/College.
• Provide detailed and accurate information regarding Admission and Visa documentation and other mandatory requirements.
• Responsibly handle all aspects of Admission process from Case filing with university, updating the students through regular communication, Visa application filing and address to any student query.
• Stay updated with all changes in policies, procedures & requirements for destination countries.
• Follow up with the potential students post their visit and ensure effective closure.
• Capable of preparing MIS reports as required by Management.
