Job summary

FinTrainers is seeking a Student Academic Counsellor to guide CFA aspirants with clarity, empathy, and honesty. You will handle enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, and walk-ins, and keep students informed about class schedules and portal access.

The role emphasizes empathetic listening, organized follow-ups, and calm, reassuring support for anxious students pursuing CFA paths. Finance/commerce background is a plus, not essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken and written English; conversational Tamil is a plus.
• Empathetic listener who advises honestly.
• Organised, dependable with reliable follow-ups.
• Calm and reassuring when dealing with anxious students.
• Finance or commerce background is a plus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Guide CFA aspirants on program fit and alternatives when needed.

• Keep enrolled students informed about class schedules, batch updates and portal access.
• Follow up on student progress, mock exam performance and exam readiness.
• Be a reliable point of contact for students throughout their learning journey.

Who we're looking for
