Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Structural Engineer role based in Kochi. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for performing structural analysis and design for buildings and infrastructure, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing calculations, developing and reviewing structural drawings, coordinating with project managers, architects, and site engineers, and providing technical support during construction. The role also involves using CAD tools for modeling and detailing, reviewing material specifications, conducting site visits to verify design implementation, and assisting in resolving structural issues or design changes. The Structural Engineer will contribute to project documentation, participate in design reviews, and support continuous improvement of engineering practices within the company.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with a solid understanding of relevant codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Candidates should possess skills in Structural Analysis and Calculations to design safe and efficient structural systems and verify performance under various loads.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to create, modify, and review structural drawings and models.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience in building or infrastructure projects, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Kochi.
• Knowledge of industry-standard structural design software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS, or similar) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, quality control processes, and local building codes is beneficial.
