Job summary

Larsen & Toubro seeks structural engineers for offshore wind projects in India. The role involves design and analysis of offshore structures focusing on structural steel, stiffened plates, and hydrodynamic loading, with attention to welding design and SESAM modeling.

You will contribute to QA and safety standards for project execution. Applicants should be conversant with EN, DIN, ISO, NORSOK, API, AISC, AWS, DNV, ABS codes and related standards, and guide teams in rigorous checking procedures

Qualifications

• Experience in offshore structural design and analysis per applicable codes.
• Knowledge of structural analysis and offshore topside construction would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with QA systems and safe working practices.

Job description

• Structural Engineers for Offshore Wind Projects.
• Conversant with structural steel design and analysis, welding design, stiffened plate, shell finite element analysis and hydrodynamics loading using EN, DIN, ISO, NORSOK, API, AISC, AWS, DNV, ABS and other applicable codes and standards.
• Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the quality assurance system relevant to the project,
• Responsible for personal safety, safe working practices for the project.
• Experience with Stressed skin design and construction of panels, units and blocks of Ships & offshore topsides
• Knowledge of Various structural analysis and knowledge of Sesam for Structural modeling
• Experience in quality control aspects and guiding the team with proper checking procedures
