Job summary

Padink Engineering seeks a Civil Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis of industrial steel structures such as pipe racks, platforms, and building frames in Bengaluru. You will model with STAAD.Pro, check RCC foundations, and perform wind/seismic loads per ASCE 7 while coordinating with clients and vendors.

Your duties include preparing calculation reports, MTOs, and design summaries, reviewing GA/fabrication drawings, and delivering accurate, code-compliant engineering deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in STAAD Pro and MAT 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural modeling and analysis for steel structures.

Job description

Structural analysis and design of industrial steel structures such as pipe racks, equipment structures, platforms, and residential and commercial building structures.

Proficient in structural modeling and analysis using STAAD.Pro.

Experienced in steel design and RCC foundations design as per American standards.

Preparation and review of structural calculation reports, material take-offs (MTO), and other design deliverables.

Ability to review structural GA (General Arrangement) and fabrication drawings.

Good knowledge of base plate, anchor bolt, and connection design concepts.

Proficient in engineering calculations and developing design spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and Connection design tools.

SKILL / TOOLS KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Structural modeling and analysis using STAAD.Pro
• Design of industrial steel structures and steel members
• Design of RCC foundations (Shallow & Deep foundations)
• Wind, seismic, and snow load calculations as per ASCE 7
• Structural design checks and technical reviews
