Job summary

Vijaya Management seeks a Civil Engineer skilled in RCC and steel structures to lead analysis and detailing for high-rise and industrial projects.

You will build 3D models in ETABS, perform design calculations, and generate GFC drawings in AutoCAD, coordinating with architects and site teams to ensure feasibility and quality.

Site visits will verify reinforcement placement and compliance with design codes.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or M.Tech/M.E. in Civil Engineering.
• Hands-on command over ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and drafting tools like AutoCAD; knowledge of SAFE or RCDC is an added advantage.
• Clear understanding of national and international design codes of practice.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D analytical models using ETABS and STAAD.Pro.
• Compute member forces, bending moments, and shear stresses; design beams, columns, slabs, shear walls and foundations.
• Generate and review Good For Construction (GFC) drawings and reinforcement details using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, and site execution teams to resolve structural clashes and ensure feasibility.
• Conduct periodic site inspections to verify reinforcement placement and construction quality.

Responsible for analyzing, designing, and detailing safe, cost-effective reinforced concrete (RCC) and steel structures

• Structural Modeling & Analysis: Create 3D analytical models using ETABS (specialized for high-rise residential and commercial buildings) and STAAD.Pro (ideal for industrial structures, pipe racks, bridges, and complex geometries).
• Design & Calculations: Compute member forces, bending moments, and shear stresses, and design structural elements (beams, columns, slabs, shear walls, and foundations).
• Drawing & Detailing Coordination: Generate and review Good For Construction (GFC) drawings and reinforcement details using complementary software like AutoCAD or RCDC.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with architects, project managers, and site execution teams to resolve structural clashes and ensure design feasibility.
• Site Inspections: Conduct periodic site visits to inspect reinforcement placement and verify construction quality against design specifications.
