Job summary

Reliance Industries (RIL) is seeking a Civil & Structural Design Engineer with Solar Projects experience to lead foundation and structural design tasks for upcoming solar projects in Mumbai. You will design RCC open-cast foundations, pile foundations, review GI reports, and ensure compliance with IS codes while coordinating with design, procurement, fabrication, and site teams.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of Civil/Structural Design experience.
• Experience in Solar EPC / Renewable Energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of foundation design, steel structures, RCC structures, and structural analysis.
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro and AutoCAD is mandatory.

• Interpret Geotechnical Investigation (GI) reports for foundation design.
• Perform steel structural design considering loading criteria, wind loads, seismic loads, structural stability, and connection design.
• Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, BOQs, BOMs, design reports, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant IS Codes and Standards.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Fabrication, Project Execution, Vendors, and Site Teams.
• Provide technical support and resolve site-related civil and structural issues.
• Work independently on civil and structural design activities for solar projects.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 5- 10 years of relevant experience in Civil/Structural Design.
• Experience in Solar EPC / Renewable Energy projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of foundation design, steel structures, RCC structures, and structural analysis.
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro and AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Knowledge of additional structural analysis and design software will be an advantage.
• Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
