Job summary

Siddha Group is seeking an experienced structural design professional with 5-7 years in robust RCC/highrise projects. The role involves preparing and checking structural designs, drawings, and models, with hands-on vetting using ETABS, SAFE, STAAD-PRO, RCDC, AutoCAD, and Excel. Site visits and cost optimization are integral to project success.

The ideal candidate will oversee DBR creation, structural calculations, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across construction sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with structural focus.
• 5-7 years of experience in structural design for highrise/building projects.
• Proficiency in design software ETABS, SAFE, STAAD-PRO, RCDC, AutoCAD and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review structural designs and drawings.
• Vet and verify structural models for compliance and safety.
• Assist in DBR creation, calculations, and drawing checks.
• Conduct site visits to ensure design adherence on construction sites.
• Estimate costs for various structural systems to optimize overall structure cost.

Desired Experience:

5-7 yrs

Key area of work:

• Preparing by self/Checking & Vetting of Strucural Design / Drawing / structur models.
• Knowledge of Structural design Software's like ETABS, SAFE, STAAD-PRO, RCDC, AUTOCAD, EXCEL etc.
• Preparing & checking of DBR, Structural design calculations, Drawing.
• Structural design of RCC highrise buildings, Basement, UGR, Steel structures Canopy, Shed etc.
• Structural design of SS, Aluminium & Glass in Railing/ Door/ Window.
• Site visits to check adherence of design considerations in construction.
• Cost Estimation of different Structural systems for optimizing Structure cost.
