Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (PhD in Structural Engineering is a plus).
• 6+ years of experience in structural engineering design (US Projects preferred).
• Knowledge of IBC, ACI318, ASCE7 and AISC codes.

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations using relevant software and tools.
• Develop structural drawings and specifications.
• Review and interpret construction documents and shop drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other project team members, and participate in project meetings.

Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary

Nivtor Engineers is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing team. The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for a variety of projects, primarily based in the USA, from our Thane office. The types of projects include commercial, residential, university and K-12 buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural principles, building codes, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations using relevant software and tools.
• Develop structural drawings and specifications.
• Review and interpret construction documents and shop drawings,
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other project team members, and participate in project meetings.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes and standards.
• Review and annotate shop drawings and RFI documents.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering (PhD in Structural Engineering is a plus).
• 6+ years of experience in structural engineering design (US Projects preferred).
• Knowledge of IBC, ACI318, ASCE7 and AISC codes.
• Professional Engineer (Preferred but not required).
• Proficiency in RISA-3D, Tekla Structural Designer, SAP2000, spColumn, Bluebeam and Revit.
• Strong understanding of structural documents and shop drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
