Job summary

Assystem is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer in Mumbai to provide technical leadership on bridge and metro projects. You will guide design teams, ensure quality outputs, and contribute to PS&E packaging with a focus on cost-efficient solutions.

The role requires strong CAD capabilities, detailed bridge design experience for highways and rail projects, and the ability to work in interdisciplinary project settings with budget and scheduling input.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Masters in Structural Engineering preferred.
• 7–25 years of experience; experience in detailed design of bridges for highways, railways and metros.

• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably Masters in Structural Engineering.
• 7-25 years of experience. Must have experience in detailed design of bridges for Highways and Railways & Metros projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to hold a PE license in NY and/or NJ within 12 months of hire
• Experience working with bridges
• Experience working in NY Metro agencies
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is nice to have
• Proficiency with CAD and similar computer software

Additional Information

Sound knowledge of Indian code for road and rail Bridges design. Metro viaduct and station design experience is preferred
