Job summary

CP Kukreja Architects, New Delhi, seeks a proactive Junior Structural Engineer to support analysis, design and detailing for building projects. The candidate will assist senior engineers with calculations, drawings, and reports while coordinating with architects and MEP teams.

The ideal candidate holds a civil/structural engineering degree with 3–5 years of experience and hands-on knowledge of STAAD.Pro, ETABS and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Proficiency in structural design software: STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000.
• Strong understanding of loads, structural behavior and engineering principles.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in structural analysis and design of RCC, steel, and masonry structures.
• Perform basic calculations and modeling under supervision.
• Prepare design reports, calculation sheets and technical specs.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers and draughtsmen to produce coordinated construction documents.
• Review and check drawings for design intent.
• Conduct site visits for inspections and data collection.
• Stay updated with IS codes, ACI, BS, Eurocode, etc.
• Support BOQs and construction documentation as needed.

We are looking for a proactive and technically sound Junior Structural Engineer to assist in the analysis, design, and detailing of structural systems. The ideal candidate will support senior engineers in preparing structural calculations, drawings, and reports for a variety of building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the structural analysis and design of RCC, steel, and masonry structures.
• Perform basic calculations and modeling under supervision using software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or SAFE.
• Prepare design reports, calculation sheets, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and draughtsmen to produce coordinated construction documents.
• Review and check structural drawings and ensure they align with design intent.
• Conduct site visits for structural inspections, data collection, or construction support.
• Stay updated with relevant codes and standards (IS codes, ACI, BS, Eurocode, etc.).
• Support the preparation of BOQs and construction documentation as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (B.E./B.Tech or equivalent).
• Familiarity with structural design software like STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or SAP2000.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; exposure to Revit Structure or BIM tools is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, loads, and structural behavior.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to multiple project stages.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of construction practices and detailing.
• Exposure to site supervision or construction quality checks.
