Job summary

Beumer in Gurugram, India is seeking a Structural Engineer to perform structural analysis and detailed design of steel and RCC structures for material handling and industrial projects.

You will prepare design calculations, reports, GA drawings, and provide inputs for fabrication drawings, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, codes, and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and detailed design of steel and RCC structures for material handling and industrial projects.
• Prepare structural design calculations, design reports, and engineering documentation.
• Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings and provide engineering inputs for detailed fabrication drawings.
• Design structural members including beams, columns, bracings, foundations, base plates, anchor bolts, and structural connections.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Process, and Project Engineering teams during project execution.
• Review vendor drawings and fabrication documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, customer specifications, and quality standards.
• Optimize structural designs to achieve cost-effective engineering solutions without compromising safety and quality.
• Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and customer meetings whenever required.
• Support site engineering teams by resolving structural design queries during fabrication and installation.
• Assist in BOQ preparation, material estimation, and technical bid support.
• Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables in accordance with project schedules
