Job summary

FRND is seeking a Strategy Analyst to solve ambiguous business problems and turn insights into action. You will work with leadership and cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities and drive high‑impact initiatives across business, product, growth, and strategy.

You will analyse performance, market trends, and competitive landscapes, and develop structured analyses and actionable recommendations to guide growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in strategy, business analytics, consulting, or related roles.
• Exceptional analytical and structured problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work with data and derive meaningful insights; SQL proficiency preferred.

We are looking for a Strategy Analyst who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, breaking down complex business challenges, and turning insights into action. This role sits at the intersection of business, product, growth, and strategy, working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and drive high-impact initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams on key strategic and business initiatives.
• Analyse business performance, user behaviour, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and risks.
• Break down complex and ambiguous business problems into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and deep dives into new products, markets, and growth opportunities.
• Support strategic planning and help identify initiatives that can drive growth, profitability, and long-term business value.
• Work with product, growth, marketing, and operations teams to evaluate business performance and improve decision‑making.
• Build business cases, frameworks, and presentations to communicate recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Track key initiatives and help ensure strategic priorities translate into execution.
• Take ownership of high‑impact problem statements from identifying the problem to driving the solution.
• Use data and structured thinking to challenge assumptions and influence important business decisions.

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in strategy, business analytics, consulting, business operations, investment banking, startups, or other problem‑solving‑intensive roles.
• Strong academic background from a Tier 1 institution, preferably IITs, BITS, NITs, or equivalent institutions.
• Exceptional analytical and structured problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work with data and derive meaningful insights; SQL proficiency is preferred.
• Strong understanding of business fundamentals, growth, and market dynamics.
• Comfortable working with ambiguous problem statements where the path to the answer isn't always clear.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas simply through presentations, documents, and discussions.
• Strong ownership and willingness to go beyond the obvious answer.
• Someone who is curious, resourceful, and comfortable figuring things out independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, and dynamic environment.

Note: The FRND team works 6 days a week, with the 1st and 3rd Saturdays being working days.
