Job summary

FRND is seeking a Community/Operations professional to own and scale regional communities in Bengaluru. You’ll build trust with users, nurture creators and influencers, and drive engagement across Telugu-speaking audiences.

You’ll collaborate with product and growth teams to launch features that boost retention and revenue, while staying ahead of cultural trends in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in community, operations, or campaign management with regional audiences.
• Strong understanding of Telugu.
• Natural ability to connect with people and build trust at scale.
• Hands-on experience with creators, influencers, or user-generated content ecosystems.
• Comfortable with data; you can track what’s working and double down on it.
• High ownership: you don’t wait for instructions; you make things happen.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Own the voice of the community

Be the go-to person for users, from solving problems to building meaningful relationships that keep them coming back.

• Scale regional communities (Telugu)

Drive growth by empowering matchmakers, creators, and moderators, the backbone of our ecosystem.

• Turn users into creators & leaders

Identify, nurture, and grow micro-influencers within the app who drive matchmaking, virtual gifting, and live interactions.

• Monetise and upskill the ecosystem

Design and execute strategies that help creators earn, grow, and stay engaged over the long term.

• Work at the intersection of product & community

Collaborate with product teams to launch and optimise features that improve engagement, retention, and revenue.

• Stay ahead of culture & trends

From regional content to viral formats, you’ll spot what’s next and bring it into the app before anyone else.

Manage and support multiple language communities to ensure they remain positive, inclusive, and interactive.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of experience in community, operations, or campaign management, especially with regional audiences
