Job summary

Frigate Engineering Services in Tamil Nadu is seeking a skilled Stores/Inventory Executive to manage receipt, storage, issue and dispatch of materials, ensuring accurate records and traceability for uninterrupted production.

The role requires 2–5 years in manufacturing stores with strong ERP/Excel skills, plus knowledge of GRN, FIFO, stock reconciliation and production coordination. Will coordinate with Purchase, Production and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical, Production, or relevant engineering.
• 2–5 years in manufacturing stores, inventory management, and material control.
• Strong knowledge of ERP and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive raw materials, bought-out components, tooling, and consumables against purchase orders.
• Verify quantities, identification, and documents; coordinate incoming inspection with Quality.
• Prepare GRNs and update ERP/Excel stock records promptly.
• Issue materials against approved requirements and maintain issue records.
• Monitor stock, minimum/reorder levels, and shortages.
• Maintain storage, identification, lot traceability, FIFO, and material preservation.
• Control of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, tooling, and consumables.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and PPC.
• Conduct physical inventory and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Maintain material issue slips, stock reports, and inventory records.
• Control scrap, rejected, excess, and obsolete inventory with authorization.
• Support packing, dispatch documentation, and finished goods handover.
• Maintain safe handling, cleanliness, and 5S.
