• Cost control to reduce waste and improve material utilization
• Record keeping and reporting on inventory levels, movements and trends
• Vendor management to ensure timely RM deliveries and monitor performance

Job description

• Inventory Management: Oversee the accurate maintenance of RM and FG inventories and ensure timely replenishment of materials to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory levels
• Receiving and Issuing Materials: Ensure the proper receipt and issue of RM and FG materials, including conducting regular physical inventory checks and reconciling any discrepancies
• Dispatch and Delivery Coordination: Manage the timely and accurate dispatch of finished goods to customers and ensure that delivery schedules are met
• Material Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to develop material plans and schedules to meet production requirements and minimize inventory carrying costs
• Cost Control: Monitor and control RM and FG inventory costs, including implementing measures to minimize waste and improve material utilization
• Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of RM and FG inventories and transactions and provide regular reports to management on inventory levels, movements, and trends
• Vendor Management: Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure that RM deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner, and that vendor performance is monitored and improved where necessary
