Job summary

Adani Power Ltd. in India seeks an experienced Store/Inventory Manager to oversee day-to-day store and warehouse activities, ensuring proper receipt, inspection, storage and issuance of materials and maintaining systematic storage for easy retrieval.

You will maintain inventory records in ERP/SAP, conduct cycle counts, coordinate with procurement for replenishment, and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock with disposal recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline.
• MBA/PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store and warehouse activities.
• Ensure proper receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials.
• Maintain systematic storage practices for easy identification and retrieval of materials.
• Monitor stock movement and prevent material deterioration, loss, or pilferage.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/SAP systems.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts and annual physical verification.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
• Identify slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory and recommend disposal actions.
• Verify material receipt against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Ensure timely issuance of materials to user departments.
• Maintain proper documentation for inward and outward material movements.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for smooth material flow.
• Update inventory transactions in SAP/ERP systems.
• Generate stock reports, inventory valuation reports, and MIS reports.
• Maintain proper records of GRN, material issue notes, gate passes, and stock registers.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements and documentation standards.
• Lead and supervise store personnel and warehouse staff.
• Allocate work and monitor team performance.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and safety protocols.
• Provide guidance and training to store team members.
• Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and warehouse safety standards.
• Implement proper housekeeping practices within the store premises.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous and critical materials.
• Support internal and external audits.

Education
