Job summary

• Stock organization by shelving, binning and labeling items clearly.
• Inventory tracking through logs or software, counting physical stock regularly.
• Issuing supplies only on approved request slips.
• Reordering stock by monitoring levels and notifying purchasing when low.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of storage areas to prevent accidents.

Role

• Receiving and Inspecting: Check incoming shipments against purchase orders. Look for broken, missing, or wrong items.
• Stock Organization: Put goods in proper shelves or bins. Label items clearly so workers can find them fast.
• Inventory Tracking: Update stock logs and software. Count physical items on a regular basis to catch missing stock.
• Issuing Supplies: Hand out materials or products only when workers show approved request slips.
• Reordering Stock: Watch inventory levels. Tell the purchasing team when supplies get too low.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Keep storage areas clean, dry, and safe. Follow rules to prevent fire or injury.
