Job summary

Funcity is seeking a Store Manager for its Gurugram outlet. The role focuses on operations, guest experience, and team leadership.

You will coordinate with the Asst Store Manager, manage schedules, resolve complaints, maintain safety and hygiene, and drive revenue through effective merchandising and customer service.

Candidates should have 5-9 years in Retail/Hotel/F&B sectors and hold Graduation or MBA.

Qualifications

• Graduation or MBA in any discipline is required.
• Strong communication and team-building skills are essential.
• Knowledge of regional language preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate store activities with the Asst Store Manager.
• Assign shifts, handle guest complaints, and interact with customers.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and external agencies for equipment and fixtures.
• Resolve guest issues professionally or escalate as needed.
• Ensure the outlet is clean, safe and hygienic at all times.
• Assist in preparing sales and expense reports.
• Ensure consumables are always available.
• Coordinate with regional team and stakeholders.
• Aim to generate additional revenue.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

• Plan and coordinate work activities with the Asst Store Manager to operate the outlet.
• Assign responsibility areas and work schedules, Handle Guest complaints, Interact with customers to assess their needs, Party organization with the Party Coordinator. Coordinate with Supervisors, Team Memebers/Outsourced Agencies for the proper maintenance of all equipment, furniture and fixtures of the outlet.
• Handling the guest complaints and resolving them professionally in an efficient and prompt manner or escalating it further to the RM.
• To ensure the entire facility is maintained in such a way so that it gives clean, safe and hygiene environment for the users at every aspects of operations management in terms of high standard and quality.
• Assist Supervisors in preparing sales, operational expense and other financial reports with complete understanding on the subject.
• Ensure availability of all consumables at all time.
• Coordinating with regional team and other stake holders.
• Generating additional revenue

Customer Relationship Management:

• Resolving customers complaints/issues. Build effective relationship with the customers when dealing and interacting with them on floor or during the Birthday Parties.

People Management:

• Effective coordination and communication with team members.
• Train employees in Guest Service and job Skills
• Develop and motivate the team

Inventory Management:

• Ensure availability of all consumables, redemption gifts and any other item needed for Operations.
