Job summary

Svenska Hotels in Mumbai is seeking a Storekeeper Assistant to support the hotel store department. You will assist in receiving and checking incoming materials, help load and organize stock, and ensure proper storage and labeling. You will contribute to inventory counts and follow FIFO procedures.

The role requires physical fitness, reliability, and teamwork to maintain a clean and safe store area in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Storekeeper in receiving and checking incoming materials.
• Loading, unloading, shifting and arranging stock in the store.
• Maintain proper storage and cleanliness of the store area.
• Assist in issuing materials to different hotel departments as per requirement.
• Check quantity and condition of items received.
• Support stock counting and physical inventory.
• Follow proper FIFO (First In, First Out) system wherever applicable.
• Maintain proper organization and labeling of stock.
• Report damaged, expired or shortage items to the Storekeeper.
• Follow hotel safety, hygiene and security procedures.
