Job summary

Arvind Industries in India seeks a Store Incharge to oversee inventory control and daily store operations. You will manage receiving, storing, and issuing materials, perform routine audits, and ensure adherence to store-related policies and procedures.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience in store keeping, strong knowledge of inventory control, and proficiency with ERP/Tally/Excel for daily stock updates and traceability.

• Receipt of material: GRN, checking against PO and quantity verification.
• Stock maintenance using ERP/Tally/Excel with daily updates.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
• Manage daily store operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
• Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement in store management systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to stores keeping.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-7 years of experience in a similar role (Store Incharge).
• Strong knowledge of store keeping, inventory control, material control, stock management, and store supervision principles.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Receipt of material: GRN, checking against PO, quantity and size verification
• Plate inward with heat number and test certificate (MTC) tracking for traceability
• Issue of plates, consumables, tools and spares against job / indent
• Stock maintenance in ERP / Tally / Excel, with daily updates
• Offcut and scrap control: marking, storage and records
• Job work / outsource material: delivery challan, returnable gate pass and follow-up for return
• Minimum stock level monitoring and raising indents on time
• Monthly physical stock verification and reconciliation
• Proper storage and identification (grade-wise, thickness-wise)
• Coordination with purchase, production, QC and dispatch
