Job summary

A retail company in Ernakulam, Kerala is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations of stock management. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with SOPs, coordinating with teams, and supervising loading and unloading activities. Preferred candidates will have a background in commerce or logistics with relevant experience in warehouse management.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of experience in store or warehouse management, preferably in retail or electronics sector.
• Preferred: Graduate in Commerce, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 0–5 years of experience in store or warehouse management (preferably in retail or electronics sector).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the store godown including stock receipt, storage, and dispatch.
• Ensure proper documentation of all inward and outward materials in coordination with the ERP system.
• Maintain accurate stock levels through periodic physical verification and reconciliation with system data.
• Supervise loading and unloading activities ensuring proper handling and safety of goods.
• Monitor and maintain optimal storage conditions and cleanliness within the godown.
• Coordinate with the purchase, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely stock movement.
• Track ageing stocks and report slow-moving or damaged items to the management.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and audit requirements related to stock and warehouse management.
• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) practices to ensure efficient stock rotation.
• Manage and guide store assistants and helpers for smooth day-to-day operations.
