Job summary

Motion Drivetronics in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Store In-Charge to run the company store and warehouse with precision, system-driven processes, and traceability. You will own all store operations, ensuring materials are available, properly identified, and recorded in SAP with full accountability.

The role requires maintaining 100% stock accuracy, completing same-day SAP entries, and leading the team to follow FIFO/FEFO, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Maintain 100% accuracy between physical stock and SAP records.
• Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts.
• Train team on material handling and SAP procedures.
• Ensure traceability and proper storage of materials.

Responsibilities

• Own all store and warehouse operations with accountability.
• Ensure correct SAP entries on the same day for GRN, receipts, transfers, and issues.
• Plan manpower according to daily workload and monitor performance.
• Prevent loss, damage, misplacement, and unauthorized movement.
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO storage where applicable and keep area clean.

Store In-Charge Job Description (JD)

Main Objective

Build and operate the company store like Amazon — highly organized, system-driven, traceable, accurate, fast, and accountable.

The Store In-Charge will have complete ownership of all store and warehouse operations, ensuring that every material is available at the right location, correctly identified, accurately recorded in SAP, and traceable at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Accuracy

• Maintain 100% accuracy between physical stock and SAP stock.
• Conduct regular stock verification and cycle counts.
• Investigate and close all stock discrepancies.

Incoming Material — One-to-One Tracking

• Track every incoming material one-to-one from receipt to storage and final issue.
• Verify quantity, part number, Batch, and other applicable details against PO/GRN documents.
• Ensure proper identification and traceability of all received materials.

SAP Entries — Same-Day Completion

• Ensure all store transactions are entered correctly in SAP on the same day.
• This includes GRN, material receipt, transfer, issue, reservation, return, and other applicable transactions.
• No pending or delayed SAP entries without valid justification.

Manpower Management

• Plan and allocate store manpower according to daily workload.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, discipline, and work quality.
• Train team members on proper material handling, storage, safety, and SAP processes.

Overall Store & Warehouse Ownership

• Take complete ownership and accountability for all stores and warehouses.
• Ensure proper material storage, identification, FIFO/FEFO where applicable, housekeeping, and safe handling.
