As a Strategic Procurement Professional, you will play a key role in driving procurement excellence, governance, and strategic sourcing initiatives across Siemens Energy's manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for implementing best-in-class procurement processes, strengthening supplier management practices, driving digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance frameworks.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to enhance procurement performance, improve transparency, optimize costs, and build a resilient supply chain ecosystem. You will also contribute to sustainability initiatives, risk management, and compliance activities while leveraging data-driven insights to support strategic decision‑making.

We are looking for a proactive procurement professional with strong analytical skills, expertise in supplier relationship management, and a passion for driving continuous improvement and operational excellence within a manufacturing environment.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Design and implement benchmark procurement practices to achieve the highest level of compliance with Siemens Energy procurement guidelines and governance processes.
• Drive procurement excellence by deploying best‑in‑class methods, tools, and processes across the procurement ecosystem.
• Lead initiatives related to hedging, sustainability, and carbon footprint reduction across the supply chain.
• Drive digitalisation initiatives within the procurement function to improve efficiency, productivity, and transparency across supply chain interfaces.
• Develop and implement controlling tools and reporting mechanisms to strengthen governance, compliance, and procurement performance monitoring.
• Establish and implement best practices in supply chain resilience, supplier risk assessment, and risk mitigation planning.
• Ensure compliance with procurement governance guidelines, internal controls, and company policies.
• Drive SCM‑related activities pertaining to Risk for Business (R4B), MSME requirements, and other statutory and legal compliance obligations.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to continuously improve sourcing processes, supplier performance, and procurement effectiveness.
• Leverage procurement data, analytics, and reporting tools to generate actionable insights and support informed business decisions.
• Support supplier relationship management initiatives to strengthen collaboration, performance, and long‑term value creation.
• Monitor market trends and procurement performance indicators to identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational improvement.

What You Bring

• B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in Strategic Procurement within manufacturing industries.
• Hands‑on experience in handling procurement commodities and supplier relationship management for direct materials.
• Good understanding of procurement excellence frameworks, governance processes, and procurement controlling mechanisms.
• Strong knowledge of procurement methods and tools, including SCM systems, database management, e‑auctions, reporting, and savings tracking.
• Experience working with procurement governance guidelines, risk management frameworks, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience in data interpretation, reporting, and converting insights into actionable business plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in the High Voltage (HV) Energy sector is preferred; candidates from Automotive, Manufacturing, Power, or related industries will also be considered.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.
• Passion for sustainability, digital transformation, supply chain excellence, and continuous improvement.
