Job summary

HLFPPT is seeking a Store Keeper in India to manage day-to-day godown operations, receive and verify stock, issue materials to authorized staff, and maintain precise inventory records. The role requires coordinating with multiple departments to ensure timely replenishment and secure storage of items.

The incumbent will conduct regular stock verifications, maintain documentation for receipts and transfers, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper housekeeping of the storage area.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the godown/store
• Receive, check, count, and properly store incoming materials
• Issue materials/items to authorized staff as per approved requirements
• Maintain accurate stock and inventory records
• Regularly update inward and outward stock registers
• Monitor stock levels and inform the concerned person when items need to be replenished
• Ensure proper arrangement, labeling, and safe storage of all materials
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with records
• Maintain records of damaged, expired, missing, or unusable items
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper housekeeping of the godown/store
• Take proper care of organizational assets, equipment, stationery, and other materials kept in the store
• Assist in loading, unloading, shifting, and arranging materials whenever required
• Maintain proper documentation for receipts, issues, transfers, and returns
• Coordinate with procurement, administration, finance, and other departments regarding store requirements
• Support periodic stock audits and provide required inventory information
• Ensure that materials are stored securely and are easily accessible when required
• Perform other store/godown-related duties assigned by the supervisor
