Job summary

Shift Air Pneumatics in India is seeking an Inventory/Storekeeper to manage incoming materials, verify quantities, quality, and specifications, and maintain accurate stock records.

You will label, store, issue against requisitions, conduct regular stock checks, prepare reports, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations. This role requires diligence in inventory control and safety in the storage area.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, quality, and specifications.
• Maintain records of all receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
• Store materials systematically and ensure proper identification and labeling.
• Issue materials against approved requisitions or authorized requests.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular physical stock checks.
• Prepare inventory reports and maintain stock registers.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform management about shortages.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and safety of materials.
• Coordinate with purchase, production, accounts, and other departments as required.
• Identify damaged, expired, excess, or slow-moving materials.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the store.
• Assist in periodic stock audits and reconciliation.
• Follow company policies and procedures related to inventory control and store management.
