Job summary

Terix Computer Service is seeking a storage administrator with hands-on experience in Dell PowerStore, Dell ME5/ME5212 and NetApp ONTAP. The role covers administration, monitoring, capacity planning, and fault resolution across SAN/NAS environments.

You will coordinate with OEM support teams and manage data protection activities on site in Noida. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to independently run day-to-day storage

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Dell Storage, Dell PowerStore/ME5 and NetApp ONTAP.
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS environments.
• Experience with HPE Storage.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and customer handling.
• Ability to independently manage day-to-day storage operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise storage platforms across multiple vendors, primarily Dell Storage and NetApp.
• Perform day-to-day administration and monitoring of Dell PowerStore, ME5/ME5212 and NetApp ONTAP environments.
• Monitor storage health, capacity, performance, alerts and overall infrastructure availability.
• Perform L2 troubleshooting for storage-related incidents and issues.
• Troubleshoot disk, controller, volume, LUN, connectivity, performance and capacity-related issues.
• Perform storage provisioning activities including LUN/volume creation, host mapping and access management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SAN/NAS, FC and iSCSI connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and manage multipathing and host-to-storage connectivity issues.
• Monitor storage utilization and provide inputs for capacity planning and forecasting.
• Support storage availability and redundancy requirements.
• Assist with storage replication, snapshots and other data protection-related activities.
• Coordinate with Dell, NetApp and other OEM technical support teams for incident resolution and complex troubleshooting.
• Raise and manage OEM support cases and ensure timely follow-up until closure.
• Assist with firmware, software/ONTAP upgrades and storage lifecycle activities.
• Support planned changes, infrastructure enhancements and technology refresh activities.
• Follow OEM-recommended best practices and customer-defined operational procedures.
• Maintain storage configuration records, incident details, activity reports and operational documentation.
• Participate in troubleshooting, change implementation and maintenance activities as required.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the storage environment and timely escalation of critical issues.
