Job summary

Ensono is seeking a SAN Storage Engineer to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of SAN arrays and data fabrics, including out-of-band managed storage and replication appliances.

The role focuses on incident response, storage lifecycle management, onboarding documentation, and ongoing tuning. Primary platforms include Hitachi Storage, Pure, EMC, and Brocade, with a strong emphasis on ITIL processes and automation.

Qualifications

• ITIL-compliant incident, request, change management experience.
• Experience maintaining large distributed storage infrastructure.
• Ability to contribute to onboarding and documentation of storage platforms.

Responsibilities

• Meets and exceeds client SLAs on incident troubleshooting and responsiveness.
• Supports storage fabric installations, upgrades, and decommissions.
• Contributes to operational readiness and documentation of guidelines and policies.
• Performs root cause analysis and performance tuning for storage issues.
• Promotes ITIL best practices for incident, change, and problem management.
• Assists in modernization and automation of storage infrastructure.
• Deploys new SAN/Switch infrastructure and maintains CMDB.
• Collaborates with solution architects on complex storage designs.

Duties and Responsibilitiesof theStorage Engineerfunction:

• Meets and exceeds client SLAs on incident troubleshooting and responsivenesswhile managing andmaintainingalarge distributedstorage infrastructure
• Supports release and life cycleprocessSAN fabricand storage arrayinstalls,upgrades, and decommissions
• Contributes tooperational readiness of platformsduring onboarding and throughongoingprocess documentationcreation,updates toguidelines, policies,change,and auditprocedures
• Participates in troubleshooting efforts for storageissues, root cause analysis, and performance analysis andtuning
• ITIL-compliantchampion forincident, request, change, andwith particular focus onproblemmanagement
• Participate in the modernization andautomation of storageinfrastructure

Assistand provide technical input to Ensonostoragesolution architect and others on the complex solution design, configuration, integration,and installation of new services
