Job summary

Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh in Kanpur is seeking a Steward to maintain cleanliness and order in dining areas, serve food and beverages, and uphold service standards. The steward will work closely with food service and hospitality teams and support training as needed.

Role Description

The Steward role at Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh is a full-time, on-site position based in Kanpur. The steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in dining areas, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that service standards are consistently met. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and clearing tables, assisting with food service during events and regular meal hours, and providing courteous support to students, staff, and visitors. The steward will work closely with the food service and hospitality teams, follow hygiene and safety protocols, and support training and coordination activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with students, staff, and guests.
