Job summary

SEGULA Technologies in Chennai seeks stamping simulation engineer with expertise in stamping shop processes. You will independently handle stamping-related activities, with capability in die structures, body components, and stamping feasibility concerns for cold stamping.

Hands-on in CAD/CAM tools (CATIA/UG) and simulation software; will execute simulations, propose countermeasures, and contribute to tool go-ahead milestones with detailed process, reports, and 3D/2D method plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in stamping simulation and technical stamping shop background.
• Knowledge of stamping processes, die structure, body structure, and stamping feasibility.
• Proficient in die standard parts and die cost estimation.
• Capable of process optimization and progressive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute stamping simulations and plan countermeasures.
• Propose engineering changes to product design.
• Execute tool go-ahead activity with milestone documents (Process, Simulation, Sim Report, 3D & 2D Method Plan).
• Support spring back simulation and compensation knowledge.

Job description

• Experience in Stamping Simulation activities with a technical background in stamping shop & should be
• capable of handling Stamping related activities individually.
• Knowledge in Stamping processes, die structure, Body structure & stamping feasibility concerns for
• both Cold Stamping.
• Knowledge on Die standard parts & die cost estimation.
• Knowledge on Stamping Process Optimization & Progressive analysis.
• Hands on experience in any simulation software [Auto form / Pam stamp / Dyna form] and can able
• to execute simulation & plan Counter measure.
• Knowledge on Automated presses lines [Cross bar, Feed bar] panel layout making.
• Able propose Engineering Change request to Product design.
• Able execute Tool Go-Ahead activity – with milestone closing documents (Process, Simulation, Sim
• Report, 3D & 2D Method Plan, Spring back simulation & compensation knowledge preferable.
• Hands on experience in any CAD software [Catia/UG] with A-class surface modelling capability.
• Hands on experience in T0 trials & can make comparison Simulation Vs Trial -Preferable.
