Job summary

SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES in India is seeking an experienced tool and die designer to join our engineering team. You will design 3D casting tools, prepare detailed drawings, and select materials for stamping applications using Catia, NX, or SolidWorks.

You will work on die automation concepts, CAM workflows, BOMs, and cost estimation, while contributing to benchmarking and value engineering to improve manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in 3D die design and drafting for casting tools.
• Knowledge of press types, specifications, and automation.
• Ability to select materials and prepare detail drawings and BOM.
• Experience with CAMs and die design optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft casting tools using Catia/NX/SolidWorks.
• Estimate dies costs and prepare BOMs.
• Optimize die design and stamping processes.
• Conduct benchmarking and value engineering.

• 3D Die design and drafting of casting tool design in any software [Catia, NX, Solid works]
• Knowledge on Press types & specifications.
• Knowledge on Press Automations (Panel transfer from 1 Press to Press).
• Selection of material, preparation of Detail drawings & BOM.
• Knowledge of die designs with CAMs (Aerial CAM, Collapse, Swing and Rotary) with timing
• diagram.
• Can be able to make and optimise process/operation sequence.
• Additional advantage (Experience in Pattern Validation).
• Performing benchmarking exercise and value engineering tasks.

• diagram.
• Knowledge in Stamping processes, die structure, Body structure & stamping feasibility concerns for both stamping.
• Can be able to make and optimise process/operation sequence.
• Additional advantage (Experience in Pattern Validation).
• Performing benchmarking exercise and value engineering tasks.
