This is a critical position in a globally distributed organization, presenting a unique opportunity to develop products that define healthcare solutions worldwide. Responsibilities
- Provide Technical Leadership to define, design, develop and support software in a fast‑paced, Agile environment using the latest technologies and infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance to a team of 5 to 7 developers on design and development of software on the latest cutting‑edge technologies.
- Understand the whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an expert on the product.
- Work with Product Managers, Program Managers, Service and Support to translate product requirements, vision and gaps to working software.
- Identify the scope of the work, own and deliver on work estimates.
- Lead technical discussions, technical designs, define interfaces between code modules and apply existing technology to designs.
- Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing, automation; establish coding standards and conduct regular code reviews.
- Be an expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
- Demonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment.
- Assess application performance, scalability, security, multitenancy, cost and optimize through design, technology and best coding practices.
- Be an expert on core data structures as well as algorithms and have the ability to implement them using the language of choice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with Cloud Technologies (AWS required).
- 10+ years of strong programming experience utilizing Python and SQL.
- 5+ years in a traditional data warehouse environment (ETL pipelines).
- 5+ years of strong understanding of ETL tools specifically Talend.
- 5+ years of proven expertise in DB/SQL performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge (5+ years) of RDBMS & No‑SQL databases.
- Experience in database design and modelling for data warehouse and business intelligence applications, including relational database structures and normal forms.
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills with complex technical subjects and tasks.
- Design, implement and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation and loading activities.
- Expertise with Source Configuration Management (Git, GitLab).
