Job Description Summary

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, delivering, and maintaining software applications and services. Your work will span machine, cloud, platform, or application areas. You will manage the entire software lifecycle, including requirement analysis, documentation, and implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop framework features for medical visualization applications across various imaging modalities.
• Write, test, and document features.
• Collaborate with architects and technical experts to design new features, evaluate alternatives, prototype, and plan execution.
• Master web development based on the MVC pattern, focusing on advanced performance management.
• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the selected technology.
• Make individual technology choices and analyze their impact.
• Develop features across the full stack, from back-end to front-end.
• Understand MVC architecture, identify component responsibilities, and design an efficient, reusable structure.
• Implement continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) principles.
• Apply SDLC principles and methodologies such as Lean/Agile/XP, CI, software and product security, scalability, documentation practices, refactoring, and testing techniques.
• Show passion for innovation and medical imaging.

Essential Skills

• Experience in front-end software design and web application development.
• Proficiency in object-oriented languages, specifically JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, and Angular.
• Understanding of back-end logic and ability to create features using HTML5/JavaScript.
• UX knowledge is recommended.
• Experience with version control (Git, GitLab) and CI tools (Jenkins).
• Knowledge of build tools (npm, Bazel, Webpack) is recommended.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in software development.
