Responsibilities

• To effectively interface with patients, anesthetists, surgeons and other service users with high responsiveness.
• To be well versed with different surgical procedures and equipment used.
• Pre- and post-operative management of patients in the nursing department.
• Stock management and coordination with other disciplines for shifting and transfer to wards.
• Ensure noise and movements within the theatre are kept to a minimum.
• Ensure the fumigation and carbolization process.
• Ensure consumables and sutures are available on time.
• Co-operate and coordinate with staff to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Ensure timely indenting and proper stock management.
• Be well groomed, punctual and adhere to company policies and practices.
• Complete orientation of QMS and EMS system of hospital.
• Awareness about Disaster Management Programme (DMP) of the hospital.
• Comply with the service quality processes, environmental and occupational issues and policies of the respective area.
• Comply with patient safety policy.
• Ensure safe utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal system.
