Job summary

Infigo Eyecare Hospitals is seeking a dedicated assistant to support the nursing team in daily patient care. You will prepare and change beddings, assist with patient needs, and help with documentation and trolleys in the wards.

Coordination with anesthetists for surgeries, handling CSSD tasks, and maintaining NABH guidelines and EMR records are part of the role. This on-site position requires strict infection control and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and change beddings, towels, and pillows used by patients.
• Deliver messages between doctors and patients.
• Assist patients with their demands and needs.
• Collect used medicine bottles, needles, gloves for dispatch.
• Prepare doses for patients.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, and respiration.
• Follow infection control processes and protocols.
• Assist staff nurse in patient preparation.
• Assist staff nurse in administration of medication.
• Assist staff nurse in completing nursing documentation.
• Prepare all trolleys in respective areas.
• Stock and inventory of IOL, consumables, equipment, and instruments.
• Follow and maintain HIC and Environment surveillance reports.
• Prepare incident reports.
• Prepare EMR according to NABH guidelines and other documentation.
• CSSD related responsibilities and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with Anesthetist for surgeries.

• Preparation of all trolleys in respective areas.
• Stock and inventory of IOL, consumable equipment and instruments.

• Preparing the Incident report.
• Preparing EMR as per the guidelines of NABH and other documentation.
• CSSD related responsibilities and maintain documentation.
• Co-ordinate with Anesthetist for surgeries.
