Job summary

Responsibilities

• Interface with patients, anesthetists, surgeons and other service users with high responsiveness.
• Be well versed with different surgical procedures and equipment used.
• Pre- and post-operative management of patients in nursing department.
• Coordinate with other disciplines during shifting and transfer to all wards.
• Keep noise and movement within the theatre to a minimum.
• Ensure fumigation and carbolization processes are carried out.
• Ensure consumables and sutures are available on time.
• Co-operate and coordinate with staff to ensure effective, efficient patient care.
• Ensure timely indenting and proper stock management.
• Be well groomed, punctual and adhere to company policies and practices.
• Have complete orientation of QMS and EMS systems of the hospital.
• Have awareness about Disaster Management Programme (DMP) of the hospital.
• Comply with service quality processes, environmental and occupational policies of the area.
• Comply with patient safety policy.
• Ensure safe utilization of equipment and proper waste disposal system.

Job description
