The candidate should be comfortable with sentinel events discussion and adhering to OT policies. Location is in India and standard healthcare operations are expected.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Take over and hand over patient to floors/ICU.
• Maintain a clean and sterile OT at all times.
• Check and maintain records of OT equipment; take necessary actions.
• Plan and schedule OT supplies/instruments/equipment to ensure optimal use.
• Plan and schedule manpower for surgeries without wastage of time and staff.
• Assist in critical incidents; provide supportive staff.
• Discuss sentinel events/near misses for corrective action and patient care.

• Totake over and hand over the patient to the floors/ ICU.
• Maintaina clean and sterile OT at all times.
• Checkand maintain all records of OT equipment and take necessary actions wheneverrequired
• Planand schedule all OT supplies/ instruments/ equipment effectively so that theyare optimally utilized. Maintain the OT records with respect to patients andequipment as per policy
• Planand schedule manpower for surgeries effectively without wastage of time andmanpower.
• Managingand providing supportive staff during critical incidents/ emergency situations.
• Beopen to discuss any sentinel events/ near misses for promoting correctiveaction and ensuring high quality patient care.
• Toassist in ensuring OT policies and procedures are followed at all times
• Ensureidentification safety for collection of specimens during collection and tillthe report informed to consultant.
• Participatein consultant's rounds and assist by giving relevant information based onnursing assessment/reassessment and observations.
• Carryout routine check at each handover that all equipments are in working order.
• Maintainpatients and accompanies safety by taking preventive measures againstaccidents.
• Accuratelyrecords and reports incidents. Ensure every error to be recorded.
• Ensurestrict infection control protocol and bio-waste guidelines to be followed for24x7.
