• The Staff Nurse IVF is responsible for delivering comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments.
• This role involves providing personalized care throughout the IVF journey, including monitoring patients vital signs and managing their condition before, during, and after procedures, as well as administering medications as prescribed.
• The nurse assists fertility specialists during key procedures such as egg retrieval and embryo transfer, while ensuring a sterile environment and proper handling of specimens.
• In addition, the role includes educating patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and procedures, while offering emotional support during what can be a sensitive and stressful experience.
• The Staff Nurse collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary teamincluding physicians, embryologists, and administrative staffto ensure smooth coordination of care and clear communication regarding treatment schedules and instructions.
• Accurate documentation of patient records, treatment progress, and medication logs is essential, along with adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• The nurse is also expected to participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay updated on the latest advancements in IVF and fertility care through ongoing education and training, contributing to high‑quality patient outcomes.
