Job summary

NexTurn is seeking a Senior Frontend Lead to architect and guide the frontend platform for scale and maintainability. You will set engineering standards and collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend leadership to shape the product experience.

You will mentor senior and mid‑level engineers, drive architectural decisions, and evolve design systems and reusable components across teams.

Requirements:

• Hands‑on experience in frontend engineering, with a track record of leading complex projects.
• Proven ability to architect and deliver rich, complex, high-performance UIs at scale.
• Strong experience designing integration patterns over REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Demonstrated technical leadership: setting standards, driving architecture, mentoring engineers.
• Define patterns for state management, data fetching, and integration over REST and GraphQL
• Make and document high‑impact architectural trade‑offs; align them with product and business goals.
• Partner with design, product, and backend leadership to shape the overall product experience.
• Ability to mentor senior and mid‑level engineers, and raise the technical bar across the org.

Nice To Have

• Strong knowledge of Lit (lit.js) or other web‑component frameworks.
• Experience integrating with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or AI‑driven tooling.
• Experience architecting design systems, micro‑frontends, or large component ecosystems.
• Deep familiarity with state management and data‑fetching architectures (React Query, Apollo, etc.).

Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Define and enforce frontend engineering standards, coding best practices, and architectural guidelines across multiple teams.
• Design scalable integration patterns for REST APIs, GraphQL, and modern data‑fetching solutions.
• Establish best practices for state management, component architecture, and application performance optimization.
• Make critical architectural decisions, document technical trade‑offs, and align solutions with business and product objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering leaders to shape product direction and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Lead complex cross‑functional initiatives and provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor, coach, and support senior and mid‑level engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical guidance.
• Contribute to the evolution of design systems, component libraries, micro‑frontends, and reusable UI frameworks.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices to improve developer productivity and product quality.
• Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, CI/CD practices, and adherence to Git‑based development workflows.
• Support the integration of AI‑driven tooling, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and other emerging frontend technologies where applicable.
