Sayyam Investments Private Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to become the future Frontend Lead. This hands-on technical leadership role will build enterprise-grade applications from scratch, define frontend architecture, mentor engineers, and drive engineering excellence.

You will own the complete frontend lifecycle from architecture to deployment, performance optimization, and production support, collaborating with Product, UX, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams

Qualifications

• 8+ years of frontend development experience.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) who canbecomethe future Frontend Lead for our engineering team.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will be responsible for buildingenterprise-grade applications from scratch, defining frontend architecture, mentoringengineers, and driving engineering excellence across multiple products.

You will own the complete frontend lifecycle, from architecture and development todeployment, performance optimisation, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Architecture & Development
• Design and develop enterprise-scale frontend applications from scratch.
• Define scalable frontend architecture, folder structure, coding standards, and reusable component libraries.
• Build highly responsive, secure, and performant web applications.
• Ensure applications are scalable, maintainable, and easy to extend.
• Drive frontend technology decisions and framework selection.
• Technical Leadership
• Act as the technical owner for all frontend applications.
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development guidelines.
• Review architecture and code to maintain high engineering quality.
• Identify technical risks and provide long-term scalable solutions.
• Lead technical discussions and participate in solution design.
• Mentor Frontend and Full Stack developers in modern frontend technologies and best practices.
• Help backend engineers strengthen their frontend development skills.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Support hiring, technical interviews, onboarding, and developer growth.
• Build a strong engineering culture focused on quality, ownership, and continuous learning.
• Product Ownership
• Take end-to-end ownership of frontend delivery from requirements to production.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high quality standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical roadmap discussions.

Required Technical Skills

• Must Have
• 8+ years of experience in Frontend Development.
• Strong expertise in Vue.js (preferred) or React.js.
• Hands-on experience with any modern frontend framework.
• Willing to work on Vue.js and React JS.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and scalable application design.
• Experience building reusable UI component libraries and design systems.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend integration.
• Experience with state management (Pinia, Vuex, Redux, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of frontend security best practices (XSS, CSRF, CSP, secure authentication).
• Experience optimising application performance and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience with Vite, Webpack, or similar build tools.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development.

Good to Have

• Experience with Micro Frontend architecture.
• Experience with Module Federation.
• Experience building enterprise SaaS or FinTech products.
• Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWA).
• Experience with GraphQL.Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) standards.Familiarity with AWS cloud services and frontend deployments.
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Lead the frontend engineering team through technical expertise.
• Build and scale enterprise applications from the ground up.
• Drive architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy.
