Job summary

Capital One in Bengaluru seeks a senior frontend engineer to lead architecture and development of complex React/TypeScript applications, building scalable component libraries and collaborating across product, design, and backend teams.

You will optimize performance, accessibility, and security while mentoring engineers and shaping frontend strategy in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development.
• Expert-level proficiency in React.js and TypeScript (Mandatory).
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience designing and developing large-scale, enterprise-grade web applications.
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture patterns, state management, and component-driven development.
• Experience with modern frontend tooling such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, npm/yarn, and build pipelines.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend integration.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Strong knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
