Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Bengaluru is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead verification of PMBUS/AVS interfaces and signoff protocols. You will develop SV/UVM environments, perform formal verification, and integrate MATLAB models via DPI for robust SOC validation in a hybrid work setting.

Ideal candidates have 7–9 years for B.E./B.Tech or 6–9 years for M.E./M.Tech in Electrical/Electronic Eng, with strong ASIC verification and ARM-based SoC experience and exposure to standard protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 7–9 years’ experience for Bachelor, 6–9 for Master’s.
• In-depth ASIC verification concepts and techniques.
• Architect complex testbenches and verification infra in SV/UVM.
• Mentor juniors and guide the team.
• ARM-based SoC verification including RTL, Power Aware, gate-level is a plus.
• Knowledge of standard protocols preferable.

Responsibilities

• Create Subsystem Verification plan for PMBUS, AVS interface and signoff protocol compliance.
• Formal verification coverage of critical control interfaces.
• SV, UVM based Verification environment.
• RNM based simulation, Matlab model’s integration - DPI in Verification strategy.
• SOC Integration verification and system level scenarios development.
• GLS Verification including root causing down to flop level.
• Code Coverage, functional coverage.
• Fault Injection Campaign Execution for ASIL-D Products.
• Familiarity with I2C/I3C, UART, AHB/APB, SMBUS, SPI protocols.
